Sports Leaders 2023-2024

The Church Hill Sports Leaders begin their training in Year 5 and carry out their responsibilities, mainly in year 6, concluding with sports day in the summer term. The sports leaders help the PE Coordinator to organise and deliver sporting opportunities for the staff and children in our school.  

Here some of the skills & qualities of an effective Sport Leader:

1. Communicator 
2. Enthusiastic/Passionate person 
3. Good listener
4. Can follow instructions efficiently
5. Able to take a lead and speak to others
6. Well organised individual

Almost all of the Christian values can be represented through physical activity and in sporting competition but Koinonia, Fairness and Courage are regularly displayed.
