  • Creativity Challenge Winners!

    This year’s Creativity Challenge was based around the theme of Clean and Plentiful Water. This linked not only to our desire that we ensure pupils are responsible citizens, appreciate the world in which we live and know about how they can have a positive impact on it, but also the Government’s 25 year-long Environment plan in which the aim is to achieve clean and plentiful water by improving at least three quarters of our waters to be close to their natural state as soon as is practicable. ​

  • Church Hill C of E Junior School Shines at Thurmaston Lights On Festival

    Despite the rain, pupils from Church Hill C of E Junior School brought festive cheer to Thurmaston during the annual Lights On Festival. Undeterred by the weather, the children paraded through the streets, spreading Christmas spirit. Crowds of locals braved the cold to watch the procession, which culminated in a heartwarming celebration at St Michael & All Angels Church. The school choir delivered a stunning performance of holiday classics, filling the church with their harmonised voices.
