Year 6 Enterprise Week a Huge Success!

This term, our Year 6 pupils took part in an exciting Enterprise Week challenge, putting their creativity, teamwork and business skills to the test.
Working either independently or in small groups, the children were tasked with creating their own business idea. Each team prepared a business pitch and presented it to Mrs Sudera, explaining how they planned to make a profit. Successful pitches received a £5 investment to help get their businesses started.
The young entrepreneurs then spent the week selling a range of goods and services during lunchtime. From handmade crafts and games to tasty treats and helpful services, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The children worked hard to attract customers, manage their budgets and keep track of their profits.
The results were outstanding! Many businesses made huge profits, with some teams turning their £5 investment into impressive sums of money. Along the way, the pupils developed valuable skills including communication, problem-solving, teamwork, financial management and resilience.
Enterprise Week was a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience the world of business in a fun and practical way. We are incredibly proud of all the Year 6 pupils for their enthusiasm, innovation and determination throughout the project.
Well done, Year 6 – you have shown that the next generation of entrepreneurs is already hard at work!
