Creative Challenge
Published 08/03/21The theme for our creative challenge this year was ‘Peace’.
We asked our children to think about and appreciate peace and create something that illustrated what Peace meant to them.
It could be anything that used their talents creatively, such as a painting, sculpture, poster, poem, song or anything else that took their fancy!
We had so many entries, it made the judging extremely difficult. Families went above and beyond during lockdown to create some really special pieces of art. We considered:
· How clearly the message of ‘Peace’ was presented
· The quality of the presentation.
· Aspiration shown in the task (more complicated use of materials, more advanced art techniques, ambitious vocabulary).

Masked Reader
Published 08/03/21World Book Day 2021
The staff had great fun disguising themselves for ‘The Masked Reader’ this year. Children were given a video of the staff reading the Revolting Rhyme (Roald Dahl) Jack and the beanstalk. All they had to do was guess who was reading each section.
The child with the most correct in each year group grabbed themselves a book token and 20HP for their efforts. Our winners were:
Maiya in Year 3
Tulisa in Year 4
Adam in Year 5
Buttercup in Year 6
Thank-you to everyone who took part. Click the links below to see the video again and how many you guessed correctly!
