Church Hill's Got Talent 2026

There was excitement in the air at Church Hill this week as pupils took to the stage for the school’s much-anticipated annual Talent Competition.

Every child who wanted to compete was given the opportunity to perform in Round One, held during the school day. The range of talent on display was remarkable, with acts including singing, dancing, tabla (Indian drums), recorder, keyboard and xylophone performances. Teachers had the difficult task of judging the first round, selecting the strongest acts to progress to the evening final in front of parents and families.

The evening performance proved to be a wonderful celebration of confidence, creativity and courage. Pupils performed to a packed audience, demonstrating not only their talent but also their dedication and hard work.

Among the standout performers was Ronnie, who delivered a powerful rendition of “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone. Millie and Anaida impressed the judges with their energetic dance routine, while Tiana wowed the audience with a vibrant cheerleading performance. Tiya brought sparkles and rhythm to the stage with her Bollywood dance and Esme amazed everyone by performing a collection of songs on the keyboard — a skill she has taught herself. Avleen, Meera and Matri-Pari also delighted the audience with a lively Bollywood dance, complete with eye-catching costumes. These children were all crowned the winners!

Following the success of the evening event, the winning acts performed once more — this time in front of the whole school. Their confidence and stage presence were a joy to watch and an inspiration to other pupils.

The Talent Competition once again showcased the breadth of ability at Church Hill and highlighted the supportive spirit of the school community. Well done to every child who took part in making the event such a memorable occasion.
